Dengeki Daisy review
You can think Dengeki Daisy is just a not distinguishing story. But when you'll start reading this manga, you will be not able to stop. It have taste, it's addictive, it's cute and funny. Sometimes it can be sad or serious. Everything mixed all together in good way.
You can also fall in love with main character, and I don't mean here Teru at all. Tasuku is an interesting person, maybe he's pervert, but anyway he's cute and really funny.
Hope you will enjoy this manga ~

Dengeki Daisy review
I'm glad that I continued on reading this manga. I've put this on hold for almost 2 years because of the slow updates but I can say that the wait is totally worth it.
Dengeki Daisy is about a poor, orphaned high school girl, Kurebayashi Teru, and her guardian Daisy. Teru was entrusted to Daisy by her late brother though she can only contact him through emails and his identity is unknown to her.
I liked the flow of the story. There is actually a story and not just focused on the romantic development of the leads. It shows background stories of all the characters and how they ended up in their current situations. It wasn't rushed and has actually conveyed the thoughts and feelings of the characters really well. Also, being bored with the story is almost impossible because of how the scene can jump from a serious tone to a very funny one. The story has gotten me laughing for the most part. :D
As for the characters, I loved how they would think things through before doing something. I think that all of the characters in Dengeki Daisy are pretty smart. XD Teru is definitely not your typical shoujo manga heroine. She is not swayed easily by opinions of the people around her. When she makes mistakes, she actually learns from them. I liked how she's open with her feelings and talks about her problems with Kurosaki and doesn't keep it to herself like in most shoujo's. And Kurosaki is just there, always to guide and support her.
The art is one of the things I would consider before reading a manga. Its pretty obvious that the art in Dengeki Daisy is really good because Kurosaki is such a handsome bishounen. :-P
Overall, I enjoyed reading this manga. I could really say that this is one of my fave and its just sad that its ending soon. You should try giving it a chance if you have the time.
Also, to Kurosaki, I hope you wont go bald even if Teru has been telling you that from the beginning. :D
P.S.
I am really sorry that this wasn't written well...

Dengeki Daisy review
Okay, uhm, before I start rating, I'd like to say that what I'm writting is my own opinion, and I'm trying to make this as helpful as I can without any spoilers, so feel free to read it even if you haven't read the manga yet.
Story: 10/10
To begin with, I've never ever read a manga or seen an anime with such a story. To help you understand how good it is, it was voted by its readers the best shoujo manga of a year. The story trully deserves to be called "outstanding".As most of us know, its easier to make a story more special when its genres is supernatural, fantasy, or sci-fi etc, but Dengeki Daisy, is the very exception.Without being any of them and just simply being "Slice of life" is way more oustanding than loads of supernatural stories I've seen, or read. It's something to congrats Motomi Kyousuke about, because it shows that she trully is a gifted story teller.
So the story, is about this girl, Teru."Her brother before his death, gave her a cell phone with the contact "DAISY" inside, saying that this person'll be his replacement, and she can be free to talk to him about everything that worries her.Teru, with no relatives, living alone in a small house, has only Daisy for her companion and tells him everything. One day at school, she accidentally breaks a window and she's forced by the unlikeable, obnoxious school janitor to work for him, so that she'll pay off the debt for the broken window. While Teru wonders who DAISY could be, her relationship with Kurosaki, the school janitor, develops. Is Kurosaki who she's looking for?Only time will tell."
When I read this summary of the manga, at first I thought that she would just find who DAISY is and live happily with him ever after.But...there were so many things, so many events, facts, years ago that are the main reason for DAISY being DAISY. So many things happen in this story, and it occupies a lot with technology stuff. So if you're not into computers, this is not a manga for you.But if you are, it is THE manga for you! The story, is predictable at some parts of it, but there are those important things which before we find out, we can't even imagine that something like that would happen. This manga, does not refer to the typical "I will protect you, I'll always be there for you" shoujo quote. Because the reason why DAISY protects her, well, it's something else that you'll find out only if you read it.
Art: 10/10
So, Motomi Kyousuke has her own special art. The characters are awesome from every part you look at them; at their profiles, or straight in their faces. It has the typical shoujo art, so Motomi Kyousuke didn't mind herself with details for the bodies, their facial characteristics though, their hair and their appearances is what suits these characters the best.I mean, you look in their eyes and you see what they're going through. Teru's eyes, for example, when they look at you seriously you can obviously understand her character.
The fun art, is just the funniest thing ever.Even if its a manga and its difficult to laugh (because what you see doesn't move, or you can't hear it) I actually blow myself up laughing with everything. It has the best chibis and in any way, the best fun art on earth.
What I also like about the characters appearance, the art, is that they don't look alike. Anyone with anyone. Its not just this usual manga art where their eyes or head shape and their facial characteristics is the same and the only thing that can separate them is their hair.Everything about each character is different, that's one of the many things I love about Dengeki Daisy.
Character: 10/10
What to say about tha characters?
They.are.all.so.crazily.DIFFERENT!
It's one of the best things, seriously. We have a masochist, a weak one, a SUPER BADASS (!) one, a serious one, a faithful one, another one that acts like a mother who cares for everyone and just has a wonderful character, a tsundere one, a good friend, etc.I'm definitely not dissapointed or bored out of the characters. Also, the characters' roles always remain stable, the ones that are the main characters remain being main characters 'till the very end. The others that are the secondary supporting characters remain like this way 'till the end, but without them the story actually couldn't have existed. So basically I would describe most of them as "main supportive". And what I love the most, except from every other thing, is that the characters show that they care for each other. They're trully friends, always helpful and protective. It's something that not many people notice, but it's also something that's one of the most important things about Dengeki Daisy. I love every piece of each character.
Something that surprises us, is that the "bad guys", or "antiheroes" as we know them, are actually the ones that are so only supportive, that we can't even imagine it'd be them. That's also a very good and special thing that makes this manga even more interesting.
Enjoyment: 10/10
Yes, I know, expressing your feelings through only something you read is difficult. For example, I never thought I would cry by only reading Dengeki Daisy. I have experienced every feeling in the world through reading Dengeki Daisy. Happiness, sadness, laughter, stress, dissapointment, every single feeling, and I'm pretty sure that when even a manga helps you express your emotions, its enjoyment deserves being called "outstanding".
What's the most funny about it, is the way they communicate. For example, a romantic moment between the main characters, where you keep thinking that something...well, romantic will happen, but it actually turns out funny and that's the point where you laugh the freeking most. For another example, the characters always hit each other in funny ways, and while someone would understand that those who hit each other do not care for them in the surface, us, who love Dengeki Daisy can also see through their actions and understand that they care for each other the most.
Overall: 10/10
I hope I helped you understand how good Dengeki Daisy is, I want to say that I highly reccomend you to read it. This manga, even if shoujo, is for everyone, really. For me, Dengeki Daisy deserves the title of the best shoujo AND comedy manga ever. I really love it and I think you will too, if you read it.

Dengeki Daisy review
This story is about a girl named Kurebaysashi,Teru whom has lost her brother, but he has not left her behind with nothing. No, in fact he left her with a person who will get her through this named,"Daisy". At first she questions if this was a good idea, but once on a rainy day she e-mails Daisy about how she feels. Soon she starts to enjoy Daisy, but still never once has Teru really seen Daisy in person.Secretly Kurosaki,Tasuku (the school janitor) knows about Teru and has been watching her all along, protecting her. Now how will the two work it out when not only has Teru's brother left
behind a phone, but secret, too. And who exactly is Daisy, the unknown in all this,(not really)that might as well have caused Teru's brother's death!
Well read and find out.
Bueatiful art and comedy along the way.
If you have any questions ask.

Dengeki Daisy review
i came across this manga about 9years ago but dropped it since it was still on going and i hate waiting. i decided that i'll get back to this once all chapters are up. however, came school, got a job and totally forgot my life as an otaku. a few days ago i was bored and suddenly the words "dengeki daisy" snapped on my mind and thought, oh yea what happened to daisy? decided to read it from the beginning and now i'm a bit emotional that i was actually able to finish this after 9 long years. i just dont know where to start
my life anymore. lol
anyway i really enjoyed this manga. it has a lot of elements, drama, mystery, comedy, romance etc. all i could ask for. a complete package. it would make you cry and it would make you laugh. really, really hard. i love the author's humor.
as for the characters, they are all lovable. i'm happy that though souichiro is dead, we were able to know about him and what kind of personality he has. i was secretly hoping that he's still alive and he just faked his death. lol he's 2nd on my list of favorite characters. next to kurosaki. man, i just love him.

I'd been avoiding the 'cliche' i'll protect you -type of manga - i think read the first chapter twice over the past few years and didn't feel any overwhelming age (like other reviewers i can see). and indeed "how wrong i was". started reading it this morning and i'm up to date now. and it's definitely in my top favourites.
The art is not overwhelmingly 'shoujo' and pretty like and kuroshiki is just damn cool. and even better that Teru is not the typical damsel in distress. Funny, an actual deeper story and character development. Just too cute!! Loving it :)

Dengeki Daisy review
I started reading Dengeky Daisy in hope it will be similar to Maid-Sama. Oh boy, was I wrong.
At first it started and seemed like a great manga! I was so hooked up! Until it stared to make no sense what so ever. But the worst thing about it is that there is no progression in romance, until really late on (near the end). Near the chapter 50 I was done with it. Story just got complicated (and it didn't make any sense). I was so pissed that I had to read the spoilers. And, as expected, the thing I was waiting for so long, happened only in the end. I'm so glad I dropped it.
The only thing that's really well made is art. Kurosaki is really hot, yes. I liked him while he was playing the "bad guy", but then he just went full-on pussy mode and I lost interest in him. I didn't like Teru. Some say she is funny, but in my opinion she is just too childish. I was hoping we will see her serious/angry side, but it didn't happen. But art is great, tho.
Overall, it's nothing like Maid-sama. I now realize nothing can beat that piece of art. But if you're fine with slow pacing romance and cliche storyline's, then read it.

Dengeki Daisy review
Dengeki Daisy doesn't have an outstanding plot. Its art is also not exactly beautiful, but the illustrations are so good that I laughed out loud many times throughout the series. And believe me, I don't really LOL while reading a manga.
Even though I said that DD's plot isn't outstanding, but it isn't bad either. What I like is that both the MC and the FC are not what they appear to be. And this is the first manga I read with such a comical FC (seriously). She provided all the homour in the story. But even then, I love it that she's not just dumb/kawaii airhead who only knows how to make readers laugh. She's got quite the brains on her shoulders and a sad backstory.
The MC is the typical tsundere but a kind-hearted guy who puts his whole heart into protecting the FC while conflicted with his feelings for her. He's also good looking and cool, smart yet dumb at the same time. What's not to love about such a man?
As for the story, besides the many LOL scenes, DD also contains a heavy plot in the shadows... which may seem draggy at one point, but stick it out to the end and you will be rewarded with a good ending. :)
This manga is all in all a very enjoyable read for me. ^o^ Try it at least for the humour.

Dengeki Daisy review
Even though the story was rather long winded BUT I CAN FINALLY SAY TERU & DAISY FOR THE WIN! Ahem...I meant to SAY they are a pretty adorable couple. I like the fact Teru isn't your typical dumb character you find in some shoujo, she's pretty sassy if I do say so myself! Best of all, you get a few giggles and it really has given the "Daisy" character with some good character development. I hadn't seen a male lead before with a basic enough job (janitor) and a elegant job (ultimate hacker). Yes you heard me correctly folks. Seriously lads, don't even dare to
try illegal computer hacking at home like Daisy boy did....
Yeah this story may not win my own dark heart but I definitely recommend rom-com fans to give this a go. The art may be old from the early 2000s but it still has a sprinkle of charm!!

Dengeki Daisy review
I started reading Dengeki Daisy YEARS ago and then had fallen out of love with manga/anime until recently. I started DD from the beginning and finished it last night and I have to say I really enjoyed it.
Story was really good, but in the middle (when Akira becomes the main problem) it became a little too complicated and too much details that were first, throwing me off, and secondly, just a tad bit boring. When they were discussing the hacker issues, I may have skimmed through that part. I really enjoyed the story before the ferris wheel moment *no spoiler review this is ;)* 10/10, but then after the ferris wheel moment it was more of a 8/10– still enjoyed it a lot.
I didn't feel too weird about the age gap between Daisy and Teru, as I know some felt slightly uncomfortable with it. But there wasn't anything wildly inappropriate about it. The development of the relationship between the two was fine, nothing crazy, and it really helped that the manga author had the surrounding supporting characters keep Daisy in check (not that he needed it hahaha, he was doing a good job himself).
Art was great, I thought the manga was so funny at times, I really laughed a lot– even during my study breaks in the quiet study rooms I had to hold back from making weird faces and laughing out loud!
The only thing I think could have been better was the ending, I truly wished that we got to see Teru be a little more serious with Daisy, either at that age or a time jump after she graduates (to stop from offending people haha) but I loved this manga overall!
** COULD BE A SPOILER **
THAT SHORT STORY ABOUT THE NAILS THOUGH: "I want you to use those nails to dig in my back" (or something like that) MAJOR SWOON *o*

Dengeki Daisy review
this is the kind of romance i've been expecting
the story is a typical kind and it resembles the lake house movie that I've watched
Characters r great I like Kurosaki best because he I mean his name is the same with Ichigoa nd Kurosaki from bleach and u can say that their personality are a kind of connected like Ichigo is a deliquent and and Tasuku is a boy from Deliquent school
Enjoying a manga or not ,it's not important right away, if it gave ayou amessage that would keep your heart fainted then you can just regard it as a masterpiece

Dengeki Daisy review
Dengeki Daisy is one of the best, if not THE BEST, shoujo I've read. The Manga deals with love, death and plenty of comedy. Now this Manga may seem serious by what I've said so far, and at some points it really is. The story is unique in the almost perfected balance of romance & actual plot. It somehow manages to capture of few different audiences although obviously Romantic. The other relationships of the characters only add to the stories complexity.
The art for this Manga was in my opinion fantastic! The girl protagonist was very different and memorable, the details made her easy to spot amongst the generic Anime girls. The other characters also were very well drawn, my favorites being the male lead and girl. As the story follows the girl messaging "Daisy" and a 24yr old janitor whom they have secret mutual feelings for each other.
It's a very sweet way the creator has managed to work the age difference into the way that their traits work together. The characters are extremely lovable and you get attached to them, trust me! I truly loved this still ongoing Manga (So far in 2012 Sep) and await every chapter eagerly, desperate for a little more time with my favourite characters. Overall I'd recommend it greatly! Please even if you don't like Romance give it a go!

Dengeki Daisy review
The only thing I can describe Dengeki Daisy: A MASTERPIECE
Not many mangas move my heart; so far only 2 did, Chrno Crusade and Detective Loki Ragnarok (their endings are quite sad to me)
However, Dengeki Daisy has been successful in moving my heart very much. I cannot wait for the manga to finish; I really want to know the ending, and I hope it's a happy one too! I am actually quite depressed due to how to story is going so far (no spoilers!), but I'm hooked. Very much!
I know I have rated everything about this manga as 10, but that is what it deserves; nothing less but certainly more.
AHHHHH can't wait!

Dengeki Daisy review
Let me start by saying: this is not a terrible manga. I like the protagonist, Teru. A lot of other Shoujo manga protagonists don’t stand out or are boring. She felt a lot more distinct to me. I do think that kurosaki’s hacking abilities are very nonsensical and convenient. Also have a problem with kurosaki and teru’s relationship. She is a 16 year old high school student and he’s a 24 year old janitor. The art is also anatomically ridiculous. If you took away kurosaki and teru’s hair their head would be nearly twice the size it should be. The story, even though it is
pretty simple, is very entertaining. I was engaged throughout the entire series and cared about most of the characters. If you’re looking for a cheesy romance with some drama, I highly recommend this. If you’re looking for an artistically and creatively beautiful manga, look somewhere else.

Dengeki Daisy review
here comes the big surprise: Dangeki Daisy is a interesting and innovative shoujo. Yeah, it was a hell of a surprise to me too - interesting, not cliche shoujo always was an oxymoron :-)
Story: 9/10
The guy is protecting the high school student, who is a neat and smart girl. But it is not a typical shoujo background - the guy has criminal record and is a dangerous hacker, and furthermore has issues with Teru's dead brother. Violent acts, a scheme and mysterious events - it's all there and is somehow connected with Teru and her mysterious guardian, DAISY. his identity is unknown, but only to Teru in fact, the reader all the time is cautious all the time what is going on.
Art 8/10
It's ok, but it is not the style I cherish the most. I hate these pontoon-like lips of the characters on coloured pages!
Charas: 10/10
Now this is something I truly love this manga about. Still staying in those lame shoujo conventions (the 2nd base not reached yet :

Dengeki Daisy review
Dengeki Daisy is one of my favorite manga ever! I love the story so much that it kills me. Kurosaki is so so so so coool!!! He may be a bad influence sometimes but he's just so cool! And the way he cares about Teru, i can die! It's really a masterpiece manga. The story is a masterpiece, the funny moments are also a masterpiece! I love how their love story is progressing and as usual everyone is not in a hurry only the antagonist (hate them). Overall it's a MASTERPIECE MANGA! :) ;)

Dengeki Daisy review
When I read shoujo mangas, I always expect to have a great laugh at how predictable this is, how 'stupid' the main girl is, or how cliché it all becomes in the end, at one point or another. It's just funny to see how the mangakas can find other ways to portray this or that.
When I started reading Dengeki Daisy, it was exactly what I thought I'd find.
Dengeki Daisy has a deep-ish storyline, with a great sense of humor. It is well told and has loveable and realistic characters through a plot full of suspense and "computer programmers".
Sure, there is drama (that's what's to expect in mangas in general anyways, no?!), there are stuff that may be too predictable, but the affections that you have for this character or that one is so strong that it keeps you want to read more if it's not for the sense of humor, or to see how this problem will be solved.
Anyways, I recommend this manga to both guys and girls. It's brilliantly told.

Dengeki Daisy review
Okay this is something new to me, I write reviews all the time for books but I've never before wrote one for something like this. . . so please bear with me on this.
I've been watching anime off and on for a long time but its only recently that I picked up reading manga. I didn't honestly think I would enjoy as much as I have so I jumped in head first and started devouring anything I could get my hands on. This is the first one that I actually really truly loved.
I have this thing, if I wanted to talk insanely about something I've read even though I know no one is going to understand what I'm talking about I know that I've fallen in love with it. I even went as far as to show it to my husband.
So what I loved so much is pretty much the characters. Straight up had me cracking up like a weirdo while I was outside. Honestly the relationship the two main characters have with each other is a lot like the one I have with my husband so it made it even funnier for me.
I feel like I don't have much of a right to talk about the art work because I'm still so new to this stuff. But to me it was pretty simple, and not in a bad way. There was good detail when it was needed, but the way it was drawn it was very easy to understand the emotions that where going on. So I give it a big thumbs up.
The story is good, though at times I found myself getting a little confused with things. I really liked the way the relationship formed and the way its handled.
All in all I very much loved reading this. I'm happy that I was able to find such an enjoyable manga so soon into picking it up. Like I said I'm new to writing reviews on this kind of stuff but I just couldn't stop myself.

Dengeki Daisy Manga Review - Motomi, Kyousuke
(January 28, 2019)
Overall: 10/10
Plot: 10
What if there's one person who can sacrifice everything just for you? That no matter what happens, no matter how bad you can be, no matter how inexcusable you think, no matter how wrong you've done, he will stay by your side. He will understand and accept you. He will protect you and will always be there for you. Who won't fall for someone like that? Who won't be captivated by having a person like that? This story revolves around those people who's been protected and protecting, who's been loved and cared for even if they are already strong. I think, this was just a way of showing that no matter how strong you can be, you will still need someone who can pull you up when you go down. You will still need someone who can understand you even if you did something wrong. What makes it really interesting is how this story circle on the topics of cyber security and the danger of being connected to one. As well as how manipulative and being manipulated human can be when they feel guilt and superior. It's full of human emotions, regrets, and courage on how to keep going even if you're scared. This one is not your typical shoujo manga. I think, it's more like a slice of life/tragic one.
Characters: 10
Every characters on this story is not really lovable, but what's really great is that they're human. They feel the way normal people feel, they have different principles and views in a situation. They have made wrong on other people and they also feel regret for what they've done. They're a handful of characters with a lot of emotions. I love how they successfully overcome their past, the sadness they've felt, not by running from it but by facing and correcting the actions they've been doing. You won't notice each and every bit of progress on every character but if you'll realize it, it's damn different from what they've been in the beginning of the story.
Art: 10
The art is really lovable. I'm so inlove with the way the mangaka express the feelings of every character, how they show their cockiness on their face, when they are angry and shy, when they are frustrated and shocked. But yeah, the protagonist is really handsome. I'm also fascinated on how most of the background is detailed and emotional. I think, I capture a lot of screenshots on this manga alone.
Enjoyment: 10
If you are seeking for a romance manga with just a light theme, a pure characters, and a sweet scenarios, then this is not for you. This story is more of a tragic heavy drama. It's full of regrets and heartache. It's full of sadness that most of the characters bear. If you are the type to like this kind of story like me, then you will definitely love it. You will get attached to it. You will really love it.
Ending: 10
An amazing story is one who leaves no loopholes to the audience. It's when al the questions has been answered and explained. I thought I will be hanged when one of the characters has been left mysterious, but the mangaka explained it a perfect bit that even if you still have questions, it's not that really important because the message, the very important topic has already been answered. And what you want to ask for should just be left in the dark. Well, something like that. Though the ending is not like a fairytale one, where it says that they live happily ever after, or they get married, or they end up together till the day they die, it's satisfying. It feels real and I'm happy the way they end up together.
