Humans are complex biological robots that are made up of trillion of cells, each with their own structure and function. Even one cell is a masterpiece, complex mechanism that humanity will never be able to reproduce. Even a single cell cannot slack off, because it might result in an illness. Scientists have come a long way in estimating the number of cells in an average human body. According to the most recent estimates, the number of cells in a human body is around 30 trillion. Hataraku Saibou Baby focuses on cells inside the body of a baby that is about to be delivered.

To tell the truth, I have become a huge fan of Hataraku Saibou series and I was hoping for a chibi comedy series, which it is not. It is an open secret that the moment a baby is delivered, its organism experiences one of the biggest stresses in life, since a mother’s immune system no longer protects a baby (there is still passive immunity, but it will not last long) and, of course, the organism of a baby will have to sustain itself by itself. And this is what this manga is about.

Of course, this was not as interesting as Hataraku Saibou and Hataraku Saibou Black, but this still was somewhat of an interesting read.
