Desire review
Okay I don't usually review but when I came across this thing and read a few chapters I thought I HAD to say something.
Spoilers: It sucks, Elite Salaryman gets a sucked by a girl on a train and become this stud. That's the first chapter. And then spends the rest of the manga having kinky sex with women spouting philosophy in the middle. It's that and just that.

Wallaby review
For Wallaby, happiness is when he doesn't get punched in the face by Kokoro, or when she allows him to share her warm bed. After all, she doesn't seem to appreciate the company of a doll with a soul of a dead student from school. The point of this short story is how Wallaby finds happiness in the room he wasn't welcome in, and how Kokoro starts appreciating him as a person, instead of a toy. For a story barely 30 pages long this light, short and sweet story is pretty well fleshed out.
We do not find out much about the characters, it is pretty obvious that while Wallaby is pretty much of a regular boy introduced as being popular among the girls while alive, Kokoro is one of those typical comedy dumbasses Azuma-sensei tends to throw in in his other works, which I guess makes a magical comedy due of sorts. The overall point of the story is pretty much the only thing you're here for, so there's truly not that much in terms of a quality ride aside from cuteness and comedy skits. Short and cute. Sweet story of a friendship formed under odd circumstances, and finding happiness. Sprinkles with W H O L E S O M E N E S S .

Alive review
Story:
Not that great. A real mess of forgotten character traits, weak character relationships, and just weak characters overall. A waste of time. I found the first chapter to be a real cheat. It lays the foundation for a neat protagonist as a writer who's on death row. Then it's never mentioned again that he's a writer despite a fairly important scene taking place in regards to it, and it really doesn't matter that he was on death row either. It's kinda just dumb. And that's a lot of what's going on. It's just a buncha dumb stuff. I'll give credit where credit is due: there are bits and pieces of potential strewn throughout this manga, but the problem is that almost ALL stories have bits and pieces of things that work. The problem is how a writer capitalizes on it, and this particular mangaka doesn't do that at all. I can't really talk too much else. I suppose that's fitting. Art: The artwork is where Alive shines. It's pretty great, although some proportions were a bit of a mess. That said, I couldn't tell what was going on with a few panels (and even pages) so I the mangaka improved on his motions and separating the setting from the actors in later manga. Character: Just crap. Again, there's some foundation, but then water comes in and shows how weak it was. I can't give a 1/10 because there was an attempt, so I'll keep this at 2/10. Enjoyment: Once I realize the mangaka was leaving a ton of stuff empty and wasted, I kinda checked out. There wasn't much this manga could offer me at the halfway point other than the small chapter count. I suggest avoiding this one. Just boring. Bijin Kakumei review
Bijin Kakumei is an absolutely beautiful and heart wrenching short manga.
"Bijin" means beautiful person and "kakumei" means revolution. The title symbolizes the heroines transformation as Yuki blossoms from a fugly girl to a glamorous beauty queen. It shows how much effort she uses to improve her body, and recover from her past scars. There's a deep significance to this manga. The manga teaches us to look beyond the superficial physical appearance and appreciate inner beauty. This manga is one of my favorites because the heroine realizes that she had someone who liked her all along despite her relentless attempts at changing her appearance. It shows how beauty is skin deep. The manga is drawn with very detailed artwork. Overall, I would rate this manga a 10/10. It's one of my favorites.

Orient review
OK. When I founded that Magi´s author realased a new manga i didn´t expected too much. Maybe because it reminds me of Edens Zero or Samurai 8, which taught me that the fact that a person makes a good manga doesn´t means that everythinh it does is good. But I had a big surprise reading Orient.
The story is about the Edo Japanese period dominated by Onis and Kishins (basucally, demons, samurais, swords, magic, that kind of stuff) and a guy called Musashi and his friend Kojiro (I still loving that references to characters of the context that Ohtaka works) STORY: 6 This is the weakest point of Orient. The problem isn´t that is cliche, but is very simple. Is just, the kind of stuf you´ll find in every manga, and its SO SIMILLAR to Magi in factors like the use of magic and the adventures. In fact, the magic system is pretty similar to all the shonens. But, for the other side, Orient is a light and simple reading of a shonen manga, and is starting to getting better from chapter 40. The battles aren´t a masterpiece, but they´re not bad. They have a good balance between power and strategy for a shonen, and they are long and enjoyable (the battle from chapter one, which is supposed to have a duration of a few pages like in every shonen has a duration of 5 CHAPTERS OF 30 OR MORE PAGES). The battles are not easy to win, and, in the most of causes, Musashi and his friends lost important battles only for learn, earning experience and try again. This. added to a comedy that doesn´t feels forced and a NULL fanservice (seriously, in manga industries is hard, VERY HARD, to find a series without nude woman everywhere), makes Orient stands out in rhythm between the new shonen manga series. ART: 8 I don´t mind some characters have the same design that others from Magi, because it only shows in the faces of some characters. But the facial expressions are so similar between them. In the other side, the weapons are pretty well drawed: you can see the light effects on the metal, and the extremely ornate and collored clothing and hair. The battles can be well done when the situation warrants. But another negative point is the simplicity of the design in Onis and Kishins, looking just like deformed joint masses. CHARACTERS: 8 Simple but not annoying. Between the MCs is a relation it´s a fluid relationship that doesn´t consist in only repeating things like "the magic of friendship". I´d like to add the learning and evolution is having Musashi in the manga, learning about his mistakes and trying to correct them, thing you don´t often see in a shonen. For now, we have a pretty little cast for a modern manga, but I hope it gets bigger ENJOYMENT: 8 If you´re searching an SHONEN GENERIC MANGA (generic doesn´t means bad, it means normal), you´ll enjoy it

Mayonaka wa Dame yo review
The art is great but the story is a joke.
As a note, this is the work of my favorite author. This is to show that I don't play games of favoritism. If I find the story great, I'll say it's commendable. If it's not, then it's not and I have no problems saying as such. Silly teenage girl is one of those gullible teens who thinks love equates to sex. So she does her "duty", as it would seem, and has sex with her "boyfriends." Rather than giving the relationship time to develop so she can get to know the guy, she actually jumps into the sack with them very early on. After being taken advantage of one last time she thinks the best way to live is to play men the way she has been played in the past. In steps her best friends younger brother, meaning a guy younger than her. He decides he'd be her playmate. Ugh, it's depressing how horrible the story plays out. The characters are dull and unremarkable with stiff and uninteresting dialogue. The lead female character is naive, ridiculously promiscuous but enjoys playing the untried ingenue. The lead male has no real purpose in the story besides enabling her promiscuity a bit, even if it is implied he feels something for her. In essence the lead male had no depth, no presence, and gave nothing to the story. In her case, she had no depth, no presence, and gave nothing to the story besides being a dummy who is easy to get into bed after a few days of dating.

AKUMA TO TSUKI NO YORU review
What can I say, it was cute for a one-shot. There were somethings that were abit off, happening too fast or being abit unrealitic, but that's just the typical one-shot stuff. The art was great! The guy was hot, which is the importen thing, and the girl was average. I enjoyed it, but it wasn't anything speciel, let's just say, I doubt I will be able to remember it tomorrow :P
