Boku no Futatsu no Tsubasa review
This is an ecchi series that follows a girl who has to deal with her cousin moving in with her and her mom. The twist is that cousin is a hermaphrodite/futanari and there's a twist on that later on when they explain why it is she was born as a futanari. Thankfully they don't try to pair the two main leads together............but there's still some easy to forget moments of Alabamaness splashed in. Twords the end it can be hard to read through with other elements they try to add for some forced tension. But it is mostly fan service. There's nothing bad in this
series but outside of the fan service there's nothing too great about the series. A nice recommendation for those who have started reading into ecchi series. This is one series that has a low chance of becoming an anime, and if it dose becomes one it will be made out of one of the more newer studios or will be turned into a hentai.

Boku no Futatsu no Tsubasa review
This is my first review so bear with me.
I didn't hate it but there was a lot left to be desired. The art was about the only redeeming thing in this whole manga. The story (especially the ending), was so contrived, it felt the ending was a part of a whole different manga. The character development was poor and it just was a waste of time. If you want to read a better quality gender bender about a half guy, half girl (though in a different way), you should read After School Nightmare. It has the sci-fi aspect of this manga; the character development and the mystery is a lot better; and frankly the ending was 20x better than this one. Edit: I did like how they portrayed the main character in a normal way, in a way where she had problems that were similar (if not the same) to every other teenager. |
Boku no Futatsu no Tsubasa review
This manga started off well but by the end, it lost all of its wonder.
The main character is a futanari that happens to have both a penis and a vagina. She starts to live with her cousin and her aunt. It's a simple story with what should be a complex character. However, the thing that sucks about is everything happens so quickly and not in a good way. So I find fault in the pacing of the manga and depth of characters. Not a lot of the central characters were fleshed out to me. The cousin of the m.c. felt empty besides what she ends up doing with her ex-boyfriend who also happens to hook up with the lead. I don't have a problem with the direction the author took. I have a problem with how it developed, it wasn't done right to me. It lacked depth and made the manga boring. I was waiting for sex scenes to pop up after I started to get half way through the manga as that was the only interesting thing to occur after a while. |
Boku no Futatsu no Tsubasa review
"Boku no Futatsu no Tsubasa" is an ecchi comedy manga that really feels more like fan service for people who enjoy gender bending stories. I don't feel any need to criticize the themes, but I will say that in many cases the characters come off quite shallow. For instance, wile I certainly expect teenagers to be obsessed with sex, neither of the two main leads seem to have any sort of emotional baggage that goes along with these feelings and that alone feels very unnatural.
The plot line itself is fairly nonsensical - starting off as "slice of life" comedy, but then changing about half way through the series to a sci-fi conspiracy that never really seems credible and the ending is perfunctory and only perhaps modestly satisfying. That being said, this is not a terrible manga. It's merely not very good. If you're a fan of gender bent/futanari type stories, then you might get some extra mileage out of the subject mater here, but for other people there isn't really much here to see that you can't get elsewhere and honestly done better. |
Boku no Futatsu no Tsubasa review
I think people are a little overly harsh on this short series. I think maybe people are a little closed minded when it comes to sexual situations like this. But I found it fun and interesting. I really liked Makoto's personally and I enjoyed her journey, discovering herself. Although I do feel the end was a little rushed, overall I liked it and wished it was longer when I finished it. That's how I rate things, if it ends and I'm sad there's not more then it's good in my book.
Give it a try and don't take it too seriously, it's just entertainment after all. |
Boku no Futatsu no Tsubasa review
Boku no Futatsu no Tsubasa is a Mature, Gender Bender, Ecchi, Romantic, Comedy about a Hiromi (girl) who is excited about her cousin Mako (boy?), who is going to be living with her to attend high school. However she is shocked to discover Mako is a hermaphrodite. ^_^
I would say the story is just your usual high school Rom/Com but the issue surrounding Mako makes this anything but an ordinary manga. This may be the first time most of us have come across a gender bender, with such a real life concept, which makes it so fascinating to read. In the beginning each chapter basically brings up another issue or event. Yet instead of having an episodic feel, like most manga of this affinity, the chapters actually link together quite nicely. However the story does go downhill later on, when random developments are just added in. The artwork is pretty decent with some good looking character designs. However the art style is somewhat crude, which reduces the overall quality of everything, especially the facial expressions. The characters are pretty interesting but out of all of them Mako is the one this manga is all about. It is hard not to feel concerned about the problems Mako has to deal with but it’s hilarious to see how Mako deals with it all. Overall Boku no Futatsu no Tsubasa is one of the best Gender Benders, out of all the manga I have read. It’s amazing how well it brings up various issues that we are all thinking whilst reading and give a realistic answer. I can’t stress how many “LOL” moments this manga has in the beginning but that is due to the number of sexual innuendos. So if you don’t mind a very sexually orientated comedy and some incredibly stupid developments, then you must check this out. *Be warned though, there's a bit of sexual content.* ^_^ |
