Black Clover review

Note: This my first written review!

I feel like Black Clover is a really under-rated manga because of its anime adaption in 2017 (and every anituber roasted it when it came out) , plus people assume it's just another shounen anime and/or a copy of Naruto, and it really isn't. Trust me I've watched plenty of both Naruto and Naruto Shippuden and read a couple of the Manga's volumes, and Black Clover doesn't feel like Naruto at all.

Story=8

The story starts like any other shounen anime, a kid who wants to be the Magic Emperor in Black Clover's case, but don't get me wrong it's not a stereotypical shounen story, it has its own twist which makes Black Clover unique.

Art=8

The art in Black Clover is a really interesting art style, it really works with both funny and epic scenes in the manga.

Character=7

Lets start with our main hero; Asta. Asta is a lousy cheerful boy who doesn't know how to give up, then we have Yuno, his adoptive brother and rival which is an aloof and edgy type of guy. Now I'm obviously not gonna go and describe every character, but in general every character feels unique and interesting, they all have different goals and reasons, which makes the characters in Black Clover really fun. Some characters might be the stereotypic shounen characters but they kind of also feel different from other similar characters in Manga and/or Anime.

Enjoyment=10

To me this is the most important in any Manga/Anime, and Black Clover is really enjoyable. Most of the enjoyment is supported by the art style, Black Clover can be pretty funny and also really epic, the characters are likable, the story isn't complicated, and this really contributes to making Black Clover such and enjoyable read.

Overall=9

Overall Black Clover is a manga you should at least give a try to. I recommend this manga to everyone, unless your not a big fan of shounens.
