I read strobe edge after reading a lot of good comments about it and because it was written by the same author as Ao haru ride.

Overall the manga was a decent read but there was only two things that really stood out to me.

Firstly, the soft art which is really a personal preference.

Secondly and more importantly, the second main lead.

Andou-san grows much more than the other two characters. He learns to not play around and falls in love with one girl. He also makes peace with his past and is genuinely are far more intriguing character than the main lead. He becomes wiser by the end of the story and his struggles are very raw and real and relatable.

Although my view of the manga is not the best I would still recommend it to shoujo readers because it is an enjoyable read, just know that there are better ones out there.
