The first thing that bothers me was the art style but after reading few chapters, I realize that the art style gradually improve, the clean finished panels and astonishing background scenery, and most of all the appealing characters designs. Every panels has its points explain what is the situation so that the readers emphasize more with the characters thoughts and actions. It maybe has its flaws showing time to time but that flaws is overshadowed with the characters expression showing their emotions the overwhelming cuteness and its steady and slow storyline.

The characters of this manga has its flaws and bad decision making showing us that not all of us is perfect, not everyone can do things like other can do but through hard work and determination to achieve a certain goal is what the heart of every character of this manga, at least that was my understanding of the author of the light novel depict and the artist of the manga clearly understand the thought process of the author. Notable character development from the start is the Greyrat family, specifically Rudeus (Rudy) family. Starting from new born baby that has a mind of a 40 plus years old reborn in this new vast world, showing potential to be extraordinary with magic and later has the battle senesce of a swordsman taught by Paul Greyrat (Rudy's Father) and further on the story Rudy continue to refine his knowledge swordsman ship taught by Ghyslaine Dedorudia (Paul's friend and former party member). Rudy regrets that lingers in his previous past life, he uses that not as to hinder him self but to fuel his desire to live to the fullest and no second guessing every decision that he made and to protect that is dear to him. While reading the first few chapters, the time Zenith Greyrat (Rudy's Mother) is pregnant with a child and discover that the Lilia Greyrat head maid of the family is also pregnant with a child, that Paul undeniable commit an unforgivable act. Zenith has some thoughts and quickly forgive Lilia because of their strong relationship and later on forgive Paul of his act. Rudy heavily protest his opinion that Lilia should stay and because of that Lilia shares the end of her story to Rudy and shows gratitude and soon to be child to serve as well undying loyalty. Rudy's previous life, reminded him about his family are in shambles and did nothing about the situation and thought now he has the resolve to change all of that in his current life. Later on the story Rudy has two sisters, Zenith child Norn Greyrat and Lilia's child Aisha Greyrat, with that I'm really attached to Aisha character development, showing her inferiority complex that she is not love by her father because she is not the legitimate daughter. She hides her jealousy of Norn and slowly filling her heart full of doubts that she is not love causing more insecurity. Later she knows that she has a half older brother but she did not know what kind of person he is, now she reluctant to serve that person she barely knows and thus discipline by Lilia. In the later arc, all of the people on the country was teleport in deferent area in the world so Rudy's family. Rudy did find Paul and her little sister Norn. One day the mysterious god appears in Rudy's vision and tip him whereabout of Lilia and Aisha and discover Aisha inferiority complex, now determine to make his family happy. While reading through that arc, my tears slowly shed because I deeply feel Aisha feelings not because I encounter the same lifestyle but how the author convey that feelings through character developments. That kind of story telling helps the character development to the point carries a heavy influence to the reader, for me that is a one of the strong point of this manga.

The relations ship of Rudy between 3 other girls is one I specially like. I'm not fond with harem, tends to ruin the flow of the over all felling of the manga but this is deferent, adds a good change of atmosphere to the story and keeps the reader want more of the relations ship development.

Rudy first love interest was Sylphiette "Sylphy" although he did not know that she was a girl at first because Sylphy did not tell him she was a girl. Later on the story Sylphy was teleported in a deferent country and temporarily lost her memories while hiding her identity. The development of their relationship will blossom in the Magic Academy Arc. The hide and seek relations ship between those two is a thing of beauty, the shyness of Sylphy when their alone is so adorable. Rudy second love interest is Eris Boreas "Mad Dog, Mad Sword King" Greyrat, at first the two of them didn't like each other but one day a tragic and miscalculated incident deepen the bond between the two youngster. The two of them have a really good character development because the two of them grow up together. Learning swordsman ship is Eris strong point while taking magic lesson from Rudy, one of the tutor Eris to be a respectable woman when she grow up. Every thing Rudy self knowledge helps him tutor Eris to the fullest and earn the respect of the head of the family that is Sauros Boreas Greyrat, Eris grandfather. Their relations ship deepens even more after the Teleportation incident, Rudy vow to protect Eris putting his life on the line. This arc show how deeply the bond between those two, Eris showing her adorable cute side to Rudy while in the journey together with their companions. That kind of deepen bond really stick to you and that's one of the reason I keep reading and patiently waiting for the next volume. I don't quite like that Rudy has an adult mind and having relation ship with the two young girls, bother me a lot then again this is a deferent world. The last love interest is Roxy Migurdia, I put her on last because of the relationship between this two are not quite deepen more for this current volume. The current relation ship between this two are Student and Master to Goddess and love interest (Rudy "Student" - Roxy "Master" etc.). The development between this two are quite complicated because of the one sided love and the respectable teacher. This kind of development fun to read and exiting to simulate what will happen between the two of them.


My overall thoughts, the manga is really enjoyable to read but some of the moral questions are questionable, still entertaining. I did enjoy reading every chapter, shows you how vulnerable the character is, that's how I like my manga full of emotion and sweetness with a pinch of salt.
