Shingeki no Kyojin review
Its been a while since I read this manga so this wont be the most in depth review. Its starts off as a "generic" manga with generic characters. (good drama and really addictive tho) The gore and the way the author draws the titans really sets it apart. As the story progresses (mainly towards the end) the author just stops giving a fuck about the audiences feelings and does some really controvercial things to make a great story. The character arcs are some new shit that ive never seen before in manga. He does this mainly to make a point about war and hatred.
However, it doesnt necessarily take the same pacifist route as other shows like The Vinland Saga. It shows a more nuanced and complex resolution that i wont give away here.

Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou review
"Today will be tomorrow's yesterday"
The time is set in future where rising sea level has flooded most of the costal areas. The story of Alpha Hatseno, an Alpha 7 M2 series robot left by her owner at a countryside coffee shop, she acts fully like a human being running the coffee shop named 'Cafe Alpha'. The story surrounds Alpha as she is synchronizing with commoners in behind the backdrop of a futuristic country-side Japan. The story begins with Alpha making a shopping trip to Yokohama. Marionette and yet like an elegant woman Alpha's character is able to captivate the heart of most of the male readers. About the manga in General, YKK is a 'mono no aware', a Japanese concept that awares us of the transience of things and describes beauty. The fragrance of the country side and it's transcending charm, sober warmth of long scooter ride through desolate streets, a coffee shop in the country side with entertaining customers, the sober country people, scenes like the setting sun and mysterious essence of the ocean gives it a color blooming atmosphere evoking overwhelming feelings of nostalgia, reminding us how time is fleeting. Ashinano is one of those few mangaka who can make you feel the warmth through his pages, the warmth as if a blurry reminiscence to those days when you were light headed and comfortably numb, those days you still long for, a nostalgia drive. Very much unlike the usual manga where you find string of events with cliches and other elements to stew it up. This infact exhibits the traits of a country novel and short stories, with simple events and colloquial monologues. It is a piece that syncs with readers of all ages though only for people with a certain desire for this warmth. Most amusing part is the characters, how natural they are and able to blend through progressing events with just simple acts and that again captivates the readers, it's as if the readers can relate them to their daily lives. To sum it up YKK is as simple as amazing it is.

Shinyaku Toaru Majutsu no Index review
A Certain Magical Index isn't a deep work. It's not written to blow your mind, it's not a genre redefining work. It's main purpose is to entertain.
And boy does it entertain well. Just the sole achievement of writing 45 volumes of novel (and that's not counting spin-offs and side volumes) and still being able to draw the readers in alone is outstanding. The plot works with various concepts and it's great to see that it can keep up the stakes without just simply one-upping the previous villain and inflating and ruining the whole power system like you would see in DBZ-esque works. Sometimes the peril is personal, sometimes it's the whole world or even the whole reality that's in danger, but it always gets you to root for the protagonists and hypes you up. To expand on the "concept" part, as with the previous season of the novel, Index still draws from various myths and mythology systems. As I'm a sucker for works that mingle together multiple mytholgies, I might be a bit biased there, but Index really does this well. The usage of those mythologies is surprisingly well detailed and researched and even obscure legends and characters get their turn to be incorporated. In fact, sometimes what I've previously thought were just some random terms created for the Index universe were in fact yet another less know esoteric terminology from history. Truly educational. And even when mixing together fantasy and sci-fi concepts, the overal system created for this coexistence is left without contradictions and seeming discrepancies get explained. This is in fact an occuring theme, simplyfing the technobabble (or in this case sometimes also magebabble) into layman's terms, usually through the mouth of the protagonist to level with the reader and to justify how it's possible for the characters to still stay in the game even as more and more big shots enter the ring. I think this is quite neat storytelling trick. Though yes, sometimes the babble can get out of hand, and especially the Kamisato Faction arc might get a bit confusing, mainly because it introduces *a lot* of new characters at once. Which gets us to the characters in general. This is one of the main strenght of Index novels - the cast is colossal, but still with great variety both externally and internally. I dare to say that everyone will be able to find their favourite character even among the side cast. The flow of introducing new characters is also user-friendly, so you won't get lost in who's who (with the exception of previously mentioned Kamisato Faction arc, of course). Though, this "everyone gets a favourite side char" has it's own... inconvenience. Sometimes the story takes too damn long to go back to some of those characters, which of course might sadden the heart of a fan. And that brings us to the fanservise part of Index novels. It would be dishonest to act like it doesn't exist. Yes, mixed with the storyline, Index novels also have some good old fanservices. But you what? I can't even be mad about this specific case. I'm fine with it as it doesn't deteriorate the story and it's more of a snack springled between the main dishes. Yes, this goes against my personal policy of bashing anime/manga/novels/whatever with fanservice, but that just show how great Index novel is. One final thing that I liked about New Testament specifically is how it juggles with status quo and isn't afraid to make changes - the largest example can be seen in the latest volumes here, with the latest arc surpassing even the last arc of the previous novel season. Really, almost 50 volumes and the story still didn't get stale, what a great success.

Spy Kyoushitsu review
A refreshing, wonderful and entertaining light novel.
For all of you who are fed up of fantasy or school’s setting, give a try to this novel! Ok, for starters. I found this light novel for pure chance almost a year ago. I was starting to read light novels, and the theme sure piqued my interest instantaneously: spy girls. Just that was enough to buy me. And, wow, I never expected it to be that good. I literally love all the things, from the characters to the prose. So, what is Spy Room? To give you a quick summary, seven girls were reunited to form a special team of spies, and the objective of this group was to conclude an Impassable Mission, in other words, a mission with 99% chance of failure. And the interesting thing is that all of the girls were close to drop out of their institutional facilities. So how are they going to conclude this mission? And then the story goes. Got interested? If yes, you can go immediately and read, or you can read my review, which I will just talk about things I like, WITHOUT spoilers. You can rest assured. Why do I like this series? First, it would be, obviously, the theme/setting. Spies. I love spies. I love 007, and Cold War. Oh man, I really loved studying Cold War, with all the spies, the devices and strategies. And so, after entering in the anime world, wondered: where are the spies animes/mangas/LNs? I just watched Princess Principal (go watch, an amazing anime). After this, I read Spy x Family, but it was just comedy; not actual espionage. And then I came across Spy Room. Summing up, it was love at first sight. And then I read. And holy crap, the volume 1 was AWESOME. Incredibly well-written, with loveable characters and an insane storytelling, which contributed directly with the plot. Do you know, when you read something, that the author may has been diverting your attention? It is in the same level. It was deliberate, and it was incredible seeing the structure crumbling apart as you read more and more. Truly amazing! It has, probably, one of the most amazing plot twists I have ever seen! After vol 1, vol 2 and 3 were equally amazing. And vol 4 ended the first season of Spy Room with an awesome volume. Now, talking about things more specifically. Continuing about the theme, it is espionage. And, for me, the best work of espionage I have ever seen on a Japanese media. I have yet to read a few more of it, but Spy Room sure is amazing. It delves on devices and themes spies face, such as friendship or resolution with the mission. No only that, it shows us the steps of espionage, that is gathering intel, gathering information about everything, and then strike. Not gonna lie, it has a bit of shonen present there. The girls have “powers”, which doesn’t exist in the real world. But it does not affect the plot significatively. They are not Deus Ex-Machina, so I don’t see a problem. On the contrary, it is really amazing how each one of them uses their power. Now, since we are talking about them, let’s talk about characters. Oh man, I love the girls from Spy Room. Each one of them. Sure, I have my preferences, but all of them are really loveable and entertaining to read. And not only that, they are well-written. Each one of them has their own struggles and inner conflicts, and Takemachi develops them in a really good way. I was surprised to see Tia’s development, for example. I didn’t expect that! And it goes on. All of them will get their development, in one way or another. My favourite is Tia. Oh man I so fucking love her. But I love all the others. Annette and Elna are sooooo cute. Ok, enough of characters. Let’s talk about worldbuilding. Honestly speaking, I found it a bit lacking. It is not bad by all means, but I think that we needed a bit more of geographic context to understand better the world and the threats. Albeit we do have a good explanation on the Empire, the rest of the world are a bit too vague in my opinion. On the other hand, the description of the Republic of Deen is good. And when there is the comparison between it and The Federal State of Musaia, we see that it was really well-done. Not only the descriptions were accurately and distinctive, the reaction of the characters posed a really heavy weight on it. For a quick example, they didn’t know what was a metro haha. The last thing is the prose, storytelling and these kinds of things. I would be lying if I said that it is not one the charms of this light novel. The prose was somewhat nice, not that great nor something to ramble a lot about it, but I will have to talk about the storytelling. When something has a really good storytelling, you will know. It is not something that can pass unseen. And that is what happened with Spy Room. The structure of Spy Room is amazing. I already talked about it a bit ago, but volume 1 was incredible, largely thanks to the storytelling. It dictated the pacing and understanding of the story, and when you finish, you will be “Oh, so that’s what it was about.”, and something “click” on your head. So you go check if you didn’t miss something, and you definitely missed, but is passed unnoticed. And that’s the time when you realize how good it was. Can’t talk too much because it is a huge spoiler, but go read it :) Volume 4, too, had an insane structure. Vols 2 and 3 were not that remarkable, but they used the structure/storytelling on a different way, which is obviously a spoiler, so no comment. Ops, sorry, forgot something. The illustrations! This is pretty important for light novels, so I will put some here, and be surprised, Tomari has a great art, that fits really well with Spy Room! And that’s it! I think I already talked a bit too much, as always. So, final thoughts!! If you want a refreshing and enjoyable light novel, with a light read and good content, Spy Room is perfect for you! The characters are great, the pacing is good, the plot and storytelling are amazing, and the theme is what really shines!

Mikansei Girl review
Mikansei Girl, aka Incomplete Girl, is a collection of 7 one-shots all having the theme of bittersweet yuri romance. So if you're looking for yuri with some feel-good factors, best to avoid this as it does go into some dark places. For example, the 6th story deals with a little girl working in a brothel as a protege of a high-class prostitute. It did, however, remarkably avoids the inner conflicts of a little girl working in such a ghastly place. Rather, it focuses on her complex relationship with her "Guru". IMO this is the best story of this batch.
Rest of them ( save for number 1 which is, though predictable, sets the somber tone of this yuri series) are pretty forgettable. Bunch of boob-jokes; lost & found loves and melodramatic slog.

Guild no Cheat na Uketsukejou review
The way this story is told in a different way than normal reincarnation novels (like being taken down by Truck-sama), the protagonist used her cheat abilities to survive the world as she traveled it but in the end decided to live in a small town as a guild receptionist, while using her cheat as a mean to support the town and the guild members.
As dull as it may sound the story is actually good and can be addicting to the point that when you finish reading it you want more, and the characters are smart unlike most characters in different novels and feel much more alive than you can imagine. Overall I recommend at least reading it up to the 3rd chapter to get a hold on the world.

AME GA YAMU KORO NI review
When you get so obsessed with Senpai you become a dog, similar to the storyline of Wolf Girl and Black Prince is this one-shot. Girl is treated like a dog by boy and stuff happens...and that is pretty much all that happens >_> This honestly isn't a favourite one shot of mine but it isn't the worst.
Story Noa a girl who is obsessed with senpai and is being treated by a dog like him, maybe a slave in a way. The story itself is cute but isn't anything new, nothing really stands out. What the story is involved seems to be too similar to things that have been released before in other manga... Art The art is cute, linking into the story that is being presented by the mangaka. I honestly think it is pretty decent, it may not stand out as unique or different but it was sweet for what the story was about. Characters That moment when a character is so clingy you want to punch them in the face, how I felt about Noa at the start. Urgh she was just your typical 'senpai notice me' girl. Ren the senpai, cold and indecisive, your typical character to be shown as the 'senpai'. I guess you could describe him as the perfect person, the school prince (without being considered a prince). Enjoyment/Overall Overall pretty meh, not anything outstanding but not a complete failure. I enjoy the most of it but not a favourite xx Anyway that ends this short review, I have so much trouble reviewing oneshots :/

Avant-garde Yumeko review
" The source of my self-expression is a sexual urge, libido, thus turning my libido into something abstract is art. "
Maybe that's just the best sentence which you can find in the whole manga, the whole story is just as that, however I would like to point out a few plot holes that is pretty funny if you think about it;it seems as if there is nothing named as internet in the manga because then the girl could have easily got what she wanted, another case is there was an easier way she could have just gone to a sex toy shop or again could order online, but these didn't happen because then the dear mangaka couldn't have expressed what he wanted. With all of this, there is an interesting point that the character wants to get to what true passion lies in thus she doesn't mind crossing some lines ,which shows how powerful passion can be. Not wanting to spoil,in a point in story the male character expresses an simple, yet effective sentence; I am a guy!,the girl character throwing away basic needs and dedicating herself to the whole purpose of art ,gets misleaded in the way, implying that one shouldn't forget the basics. After all of this, this isn't a bad manga but not a good one either.its NOT a must read ,so if you have the time read it (takes an hour)if you don't then simply don't! Thanks for reading, hope you all embrace the moment.

Hagure Idol: Jigoku-hen review
If I need to choose one word to discrebe this manga it would be "Inconsistency". What I mean by that is that the story can't decide where it want to go; Is this a hardcore ecchi/soft hentai manga that show sexy girls in a ton of erotic situations? Is this a comedy which explorer the good, the bad and the crazy about the trash entertainment industry? Is this a slice of life about a model who get attached to the adult industry and want to grow to be more popular? Is this a grim story about a girl who was lure to enter in this
job and now is lock in a monstruos world that treat their employees like non-human garbege? Wait, I forgot the martial arts thing.
If only the mangaká chouse one of these opitions it would be great. There are some chapter that, isolated, have a solid plot and context, but than they come glued with this chimera with idententy crisis that don't want to make its name on anything. The jokes about human exploration and rape are not funny, the sexy scenes feels off, the martial arts can be forgettable and the dark, more violent moments shows out of the blue; and, just as easy as it show up, it goes away, leaving a bad taste for the reader to remember. At least, I really like the art, the choreography and the fighting trivia. If the author decides to wright a martial art manga with hot girls, I definitively gonna read it. This one, though, is trash. I will keep reading, must because of the art, but also to have a good exemple of a bad manga and what you shouldn't do with it.
