One Piece review
The show is about people wanting to find the ultimate treasure inthe world 'One Piece' that was left behind by former King of the pirates Gol D Roger.
Meet Monkey D Luffy, a kid who set out to the seas with the Pirate King as his goal. With his crew of pirates, named the Straw Hat Pirates, Luffy explores the Grand Line in search of the world's ultimate treasure in order to become the next King of the Pirates. He sail across the world fighting corrupt governments, bounty hunters and other pirates.
At first glance, One Piece presents itself as superficial light-hearted fun, but then it catches you off guard with its depth of characters, surprising plot twists, amazingly complicated and well developed world and it also deals with themes like freedom and racism. It makes you think that you've figured it out, and then it surprises you. Every story arc fits into place in a larger tapestry of the main plotline, and does so in amazing ways. One Piece certainly can be strange, but overall it contains some of the most fantastic and original character designs and locations that you will ever see.
One Piece will never fails to entertain you and will move you emotionally. It will make you laugh, it will make you cry and it makes you twitch with excitement leaving the viewers feeling better about life in general. One piece has a world you can picture, a world you can really talk about, a world to be excited for. It's different, to say the least but still One Piece is a world worthy of any others and is an absolute joy to experience. One Piece is definitely worth watching/reading no matter what type of series that you are into. It definitely won't leave you disappointed and will guarantee you a life of laughter and an awesome adventure. It's no surprise that One Piece is hugely popular.

STORY: 6.5/10
I'm not quite sure how I feel about this area of the manga. Let's see... the premise of the story takes place in a college setting, meaning more mature characters, experiences and interactions. Fine by me, I'm a fan of that anyway. The story revolves around our male lead, how he has a chance encounter with a female student which eventually leads to him spending the night with her. Not long after (read: next chapter) he re(?)encounters another female student and decides to spend the night with her as well. But wait, there's more! Female student A and B are actually good friends! Looking like School Days huh? To wrap it up, basically the majority of the story is spent on the male protagonist being indecisive and reflecting on his true feelings for student A while dating student B. I did appreciate the fact that there was an solid ending where he comes to terms with himself and chooses a girl. They deserve that much at least.

ART: 7/10
Our characters were drawn to a pretty realistic scale and it definitely meshed well with the overall atmosphere of the story. The male protagonist is drawn a very typical young adult/college student and the pair of female leads were attractive and very easy on the eyes. Of course, being an ero-manga there were PLENTY and I mean a plethora amount of sex scenes (semi-censored) and money shots for the readers to enjoy, so it did deliver on that end. As far as the sex scenes go there were standard-fare but I will admit they did have some passion behind them, especially towards the end as the story developed.

CHARACTERS: 6/10
Our male protagonist Sakura Keita in a nutshell? Defenseless, indecisive, borderline pathetic MC #83799. Despite having some moments here and there where he shows a bit of affirmation, he still falls back into being the typical guy who gets swept along by the plot and every female he comes in contact with. Just the type of character I hate watching. The female leads aren't extremely praise worthy either. Without spoiling too much, one of the female harbors feelings for Keita but she tries her best to put them aside because he is already in a relationship and wants to maintain a proper friendship between the the group. The other female lead has a debatable character assessment. In short, she comes off as nothing but a lustful creature and I believe in all, if not most of the scenes she appears in leads to sex with Keita (the MC). Despite that I could not get myself to dislike her. She does whatever she can to make him happy and I'd be lying if I didn't feel an ounce of sympathy for her as the story progressed. I will give them this much though, the characters behaved rationally and to some degree, realistically.

ENJOYMENT/OVERALL: 7/10
Despite my obvious flak with the male protagonist Keita, the overall story was still enjoyable from start to finish. Putting aside the fact that it's a ero-manga and it might sound like I'm letting that aspect cloud my judgement, rest assured that is far from the case. As I mentioned earlier, the presence of an absolute ending is very appreciable. If you're able to enjoy what this manga has to offer without stopping every chapter to get yourself off, then surely you will come to appreciate the effort the mangaka put into this work.

Aoba-kun ni Kikitai Koto review
I LOVED IT!

The story was very interesting I couldn't put my phone down and I just kept wanting to read more. I bought the last volume since I couldn't read it anywhere else because it was so engaging.

I liked how the main girl seemed so meek at first but she's actually very strong and very optimistic even though the guy was being cold to her. This story is kind of different to all the manga's I've read before. The guy has a very unusual problem which is very interesting and makes you want to read more and learn why he has it. As the story unfolds you start to get a sense as to why he thinks the way he does and he end up feeling sorry for him. I especially like it when even though the guy has completely given up the main girl doesn't and tries to help him even if she won't get anything in return as long as he finds his passion and happiness again.

Story: Very innocent and pure and at times very comedic, especially the childish best friend and senpai. The ending was a little unexpected but cliche. I would have given this a 10/10 if it didn't have a time jump.

Art: Art is so important to me because if the drawing isn't good then no matter how good the story is I just can't find myself to be interested in it. I've always loved Ema Toyama's work. So I'm quite pleased.

Character: I love the main girl, she's just so adorable and cute I love her. She has a quiet voice like I do and only finds the courage to speak up before she realizes it because of the courage the boy and the people around her. The main guy is also very interesting with an unusual problem and pitiful backstory. The guy's best friend is also very interesting and I like him the most because he says the most unexpected things to the girl out of nowhere and with people around. It's so endearing.

Enjoyment: I loved the story. Loved the characters. Love it!

Overall: 9/10 So close to pushing the 10/10.

Ragnarok review
Heh... Accidentally passed by, I had completely forgotten about this, until I read through the ten books, that the douchebag artist released before he decided to leave the fans of at a cliffhanger.

There's some things about this series that are really good and really welldone and others are just awful, so my feelings with the manwha is really mixed. I guess it's a different kind of storytelling, it's kind of reminiscent of Game of Thrones where several characters are introduced and given backgrounds ( usually by someone else telling them about their background ) and then we get to figure the rest out ourselves. I actually enjoy books that dont treat us like we were born with a pipewrench through our heads, but things get a little too messy in this show.

The motivation for the characters is sometimes completely inunderstandable and it's common that they interact in a way that seems almost aspbergic. But the characters are very well personified and he establishes their character very early and does it very good.

As somebody who love norse mythology, I feel almost a little insulted on how loosely based the story is on the genuine article, but I am willing to forgive it, because there are some really sound ideas in this series.

As opposed to Rebirth, which feels like the artist improvises every page coming up, Ragnarok have a really good foreshadowing, so you can look forward to powerful oponents in the future. But like I said: the motivation becomes almost ridiciolous from time to time. For instance, the rivalry between Skurai and Chaos, who are both really 3-dimensional and interesting characters, but they didnt interract a single time before they met in combat. Which I see as a problem, once again, the motivation, nobody ever really explains what their goals are, even 10 books in.

My final problem is that the art style changes heavily with every single volume. The first book have a pretty edgy style, the second one becomes more clean and welldrawn, the third goes too murky and basey. 4-5-6 is actually pretty reminiscent and they are the books who look the best. After that, it takes up a immature and less verified art. Every character begins to look like they suffer from reserve aging.

But like I said, the characterization is brilliant. I love everyone in this show. Even the messed up psychopat characters.

All around, pretty good, it could work out in time. If the asshole ever releases it.
