One Piece review
I could go on for a long while about how much I love this manga, so I'll try to cut it down to a few short paragraphs.

First, there's the story. oh my god is it amazing. The way the plot is written and presented to the reader is as good as it can get, the amazing highpoints in the story are almost unmatched when compared to other shonen manga and you can tell through the writing just how much time was put into the sagas and how the arcs seemlessly transition into eachother.

Secondly, the characters, the way they are written by (G)Oda is absolutely astounding, the way the characters converse with one another gives off a real feeling of a group of real friends. Every character not only has their own ideals and dreams, but them joining the crew gives a natural way of them achieving their goals in life and gives a good reason of why they are on the crew. With every character having an arc to show them in the stagelight and to give a good idea of their traits and personality.

The shortest thing to comment on, the art. Oda has a very expressive style with his work that gives all of his characters a chance to come to life on the page they are on. Not only that, but the way that the biggest moments are placed over unbelievably detailed double-page spreads that allow his art to tell the story without having to say anything.

Finally, my overall enjoyment. i was reading this on the official Viz app so I was limited to 100 chapters per day, and i wish i wasn't, I would wake up and read until I finished 100, and that wasn't enough. I remember reading through them all and that not being enough, only wanting to see what happens in the next chapter. I enjoyed it so much I began to empathise with the situation the characters were in.

Overall, an easy 10/10 and the best piece of fiction I have ever consumed.

JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 7: Steel Ball Run review
In Steel Ball Run, Araki once again delivers a story arc full of clever battles, creative abilities, crazy plots and lovely characters. No, this is even better than the previous arcs, as the author continues to recycle his own style and improve without limits. This is a very rare example in which the author actually gets better with time, and Steel Ball Run provides very good evidence for that.

The story starts out pretty simple: our crippled Joestar hero, Johny, gangs up with Gyro Zeppeli and aims for the top in the intense Steel Ball Run race. Each competitor has his own unique motivations, abilities and means to win. Add the wackiness of the Stands to the mix and you've got yourself one hell of a ride, much like previous installments of the saga. But Steel Ball Run goes one step beyond and throws in characters/factions with their own agendas, a large conspiracy and personal quests.

That doesn't mean the story is complicated, but it definitely has interesting plot twists, intense conflicts and engaging character dynamics. Everything just flows so well that it's easy to get sucked in by the manga.

The art gets even more refined, making brilliant use of Araki's trademark style to highlight emotions, grant impact to a scene or simply serve as true feasts to the reader's eyes, specially with the rich character designs.

Gyro and Johny are likely the best JoJo protagonists to date, despite not topping Joseph from Part 2 in terms of badassery. They are far from perfect, but that's what makes them fascinating: they keep struggling with their inner demons, which are also their greatest enemies, in order to continue advancing, revealing more and more aspects of their personalities in the process. Their bond of friendship is quite powerful and authentic; even meaningless interactions are a lot of fun to watch. Oh, and Gyro's charisma is a huge plus.

The rest of the cast may not be as developed as Johny and Gyro, but they still shine. For starters, you've got Dio, who is again that bastard we all love to hate, manipulating everyone he can to achieve his personal goals. There is also the sympathetic cowboy Mountain Tim, the conflicted Hot Pants, the hilarious comedy relief Pocoloco and many other remarkable characters. The main antagonist is also great, using all of his experience acquired in combat, political power and honest, strong patriotism to pose a serious threat for the heroes.

As usual, battles are one of the biggest focus of the narrative and the main driving force behind the characters' growth, by putting them against desperate situations which demand a strong resolve and difficult choices to be made. While the Stands were becoming stronger and stronger in the previous arcs, Steel Ball Run brings most of them down dramatically. There are few overpowered abilities, making the battles very strategical and a lot demanding of the users. This is highlighted in battles such as the one against Axl Ro, which literally makes everyone involved face their sins, specially Johny and Hot Pants.

If you're up for some exciting, yet intelligent battles, a great cast of characters and one of the most bizarre races of the entire universe, then JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run is for you. And it doesn't matter whether you are an experienced reader of the JoJo saga or a total newcomer, because the Steel Ball Run excludes no one!

Iinazuke Kyoutei review
I dropped this series because of Chapter 9.

Think about it this way as if you were the MC:
One day three girls appear in your life. You don't remember meeting any of them, but each declare themselves as your future wife. You tell them over the course of days, weeks, months, that you are not interested in any of them. They don't listen. They force you into dates, force you onto bed, and greet you every morning by lining up in a row and displaying their underwear.
"Look at our panties! Which is your favorite?"

But guess what? There's still a girl you can talk to normally. And why not? You grew up with her, you shared memories, she listens to you. She's not someone who appeared overnight.

Then comes Chapter 9. You wake up and see the usual line-up: the same three girls posing with their skirts lifted for you to see.
But that's not all.

There she is, dressed the same as the three girls. There's your childhood friend, saying,

"I've joined the pact," waving that stupid membership ring on her finger that the three girls have.

She's part of the group now. She resisted at first, but they talked/threatened/physically coerced her into it till she faltered. Now they are all going to fight against each other to have you as their future husband.

She's confused, that's normal for an adolescent so for the love of all that's good, MC, snap her out of it! Let her know that she's more than that! She's a dear friend, not some molesting stranger!

Maybe the story changes later. Maybe he will tell her how much she matters as a part of his life.

But I can't read anymore of this. This hurts me as much, or even more, than some of the worst NTR. This is someone close to you being influenced by peer pressure and desperation because you didn't talk things out, nor have the guts or good sense to notice that she's gradually losing who she is because she loves you.

Urgh. If you read this, thanks for reading. The art is great, I enjoyed it before reaching chapter 9. But that's it. Someone drop me a message if either the MC or his friend Tomo realise what's happening. That would be such a salve for my insignificant, wounded feelings.

Ano Ko no Ie review
It's beautiful. There's a tone of sadness in it yet the character's witty introspection will keep you feel good all throughout - the allure of slice of life manga direct from a 'not-so' kid's perspective.

Story
The story was told in a coalesce of monologue and introspection on a kid's perspective. No plot devices, no unnecessary drama, and almost no impact at all - not that it's a bad thing though considering if you don't take it at face value. There's something about the simplicity of the story that begs your inner self to "please delve in deeper and reflect" and that's what I exactly did halfway through.

Art
Art is simple which fits the plot perfectly.

Character
There are only a few key characters in this manga, where a kid protagonist have set the tone of the story. The kid is lively, witty, a dreamer, serious at times and thoughtful.

Enjoyment
For a manga that's only 5 chapters long, enjoyment is easy to tell since there's not that much to explore. I enjoyed this manga because it made me self-reflect and think maybe a bit too much to even bother making a review for it.

Overall
This narrative, in my conclusion, is about people who wants to break free from their societal (predestined) roles but just can't because everyone tells them to just suck it up. The desire to break free from expectations is there, but self-preservation is much stronger to ignore. The kid (and the other key character) is like an embodiment those people. That's slice of life for you. Maybe I got too involved while reading this manga and made too much sense to something that is not really there. Yet, think about it - that maybe one of the conclusion the mangaka wants to deliver: to suck it up altogether.

Edens Zero review
First Impressions: This is generally my thoughts on the first chapter and all I can say is that it's not entirely bad as I thought it'll be. I can see some Fairy Tail inspirations... Happy, the talk of friendships, the main character looking like Gray, and the concept of dragons but as a story on its own it definitely does look interesting and some what unique, characters still have that charm Fairy Tail and Rave Master had, the Art is nice to look at but it's really hard not to think once again Fairy Tail lol. (even though the art from Fairy Tails is essentially identical to One Piece) The enjoyment of reading it is definitely a high for me and I hope it gets better from here.

I made this first impression on 8/22/2020, lets hope for the best and see if I still have the same reaction as I did with the first chapter...

--Real Review-- (Up to chapter 108 8/29/2020)(Will Update every 100 chapters)
Story - 9: I generally went in reading this manga thinking it'll be completely trash due to the amount of bad reviews and bad rating it had... I can tell you it's not bad at all, in fact it's no where near that! It really shocks me how creative the world building is in here like how it really delves in to the lore of the space surrounding the characters. I get people are going to compare Fairy Tail to this series and trust me I was so salty over the last arc and was just ready to criticize this but this series has its own originality and heart and again I get it that there's a lot of similarities like some of the characters looking the same, how friendship is still a trope here, the guild, and of course the biggest one Happy but stop right there, look at this series as it own without comparing it to that heaping trash and you'll truly be surprised. Before I go on with the other aspects, I should tell you what to aspect from Eden Zero, it aspect some of the lovable humor that Hiro is known for, some honestly surprising dark moments, generally sad moments that even made me cry and it's really hard to make me tear up, realistic battles that actually requires strategy and brain power and not stupid ass pulls, actual threats with some great building leading up to it, and the urgency of wanting to know more.

Art - 10: I love the art, I know it's the same as Fairy Tail and the characters have the same character models but other than that, their surroundings just looks amazing and the planets are just so original and imaginative. It also seems the drawings are telling a story for themselves also, instinctively telling you when the characters is in a very dire situation or if they just having a good time.

Characters - 9: I don't like how some of the characters look similar to the ones in Fairy Tail and it seems a few of them have the same personality also... Other than that every one else are unique and have their own quirks that generally make them lovable. I get some people are going to compare Shiki with Natsu but after a few chapters I started to see him as his own character, the similarities are still there but he's just adorable and I can't find myself to dislike him one bit and on the plus side, he doesn't pull shit out of his ass. One more thing the villains are actually built wonderful in this series and all of them are actually threats! Not one time where they defeated by 'friendship' but actual skills and smarts! I give this series +1 for that.

Enjoyment - 10: After One Piece, I am really excited to read the next chapter! I just hope it doesn't fall so hard like... again Fairy Tail, I really hoping this series the best and I do once again hope that people change their minds on this series, it's really a sleeper hit and the anime will indeed get some eyes on Eden Zero if done right!

Overall - 9: It's Not Fairy Tail And It's Not Rave Master, it's Eden Zero and I will continue to support this series and I hope you do the same too <3.

(I'll probably fix the typos and re-edit some parts of this review later, for the mean time I'm going to sleep lol)
