Orsted

The Dragon God who is cursed to be hated and feared by all living creatures in the world; however, he is patient and kind toward his comrades.


His father, the first Dragon God, uses the reincarnation technique of the Dragon Tribe to send Orsted to the future to fight Hitogami. Other curses Orsted is under includes being invisible from Hitogami's view, being unable to fight all-out due to the side effect of slow regeneration of magic, and being able to see the fate of an individual and if the individual is deviating from his or her fate.

His curse of being hated does not apply to Shizuka Nanahoshi, Rudeus Greyrat, and Rudeus' descendants due to the fact that they or their ancestors originated from another world.

It is later revealed that he is unable to see the fates of each individual, but due to his numerous loops, he is able to distinguish Hitogami's apostles due to the changes in history or an individual's action being different from the original history. Orsted's memory is intact after each reincarnation so he can fight Hitogami indefinitely until he kills Hitogami. If he died or fail to kill Hitogami after a certain time, he is forced to loop back.

His reset point is in the winter of the Armored Dragon Calendar Year 330, 77 years prior to Rudeus' birth.
