Резюме
A high level crusader and a priest of the Church of Ahz Gried, and the main character of the story.
He is assigned by the Church to be a member of the hero's party, despite the hero Naotsugu having requested a party with only female members. Not only does he become the only male companion to the hero, he is also by far the highest level (lv.93- crusader), although he pretends to be a much lower level (lv.3) so the party does not come to be overdependent on his abilities.
Unfortunatley, this is partly why, Ares is kicked out of the hero's (Naotsugu's) party early on in the story. However he continues to watch over and protect the party from behind the scenes and through colleagues/assistants (Amelia, Glacia, Spica, and Stephenne).
Side Note: This is not a series about romance, so apart from Amelia, there probably won't be anything close to that. They are colleague and actual drinking buddies, which make for some brilliant character banter.
