Aya Kitahara

A shy girl who is isolated from the class. She is being bullied by Sugawa. Later she discovers Kurosawa's secret and asks him an unexpected request.


Shortly before graduation, Kitahara reaches her breaking point, resulting in a serious incident and ultimately causing her to stop attending school.

She is later found to have become a seemingly suicidal shut-in by Kurosawa. However, after much persuasion by Kurosawa, she agrees to leave her room in order to attend their class reunion. It is later suggested that she has begun attending school again, and at least made a partial recovery.
