Резюме
Widely regarded as a trailblazer and top-tier professional player in the online multiplayer game Glory, Ye Xiu is dubbed the "Battle God" for his skills and contributions to the game over the years. However, when forced to retire from the team and to leave his gaming career behind, he finds work at a nearby internet café. There, when Glory launches its tenth server, he throws himself into the game once more using a new character named "Lord Grim."

Ye Xiu's early achievements on the new server immediately catch the attention of many players, as well as the big guilds, leaving them to wonder about the identity of this exceptional player. However, while he possesses ten years of experience and in-depth knowledge, starting afresh with neither sponsors nor a team in a game that has changed over the years presents numerous challenges. Along with talented new comrades, Ye Xiu once again dedicates himself to traversing the path to Glory's summit!

Quanzhi Gaoshou review

THIS.... WAS.... LONG....
It's really hard to rate this web novel accurately because of how much chapters there is. It's actually even harder to write a review on it, because of it.

Quanzhi Gaoshou story mostly follows what is going on inside the game and mind people who plays it. Author really put a lot of thoughts into how the game works, classes, interactions between skills and other in-game mechanics. Of course it's not 100% perfect and some mechanics are not 100% possible from (our world) design point of view, but it makes every fighting more lively and exciting and it's established early how it works, so it's not the problem. But it's not why I (the I is really important) enjoyed reading it.

The setup for the story is actually godly. "The king stripped from his title, try to get it back from ground zero", but not for revenge, because it makes him happy. It's not entirely unique setup, but it still has some uniqueness.

The interactions between characters, mind games and trash talk is second reason why this WN is interesting. In this times where you don't really can criticize anyone or trash talk, because you are going to be banned from the game, it's nostalgic to see it. Of course there are games that still allow that, but not all of them, but I feel like people's mentality change and it's rare to see it happen.

Now the last huge reason is the way author writes. It's actually duble edged sword. There's a lot of information passed on to us, what is going on through people heads, what is going on around them etc. It's not like we get perfect information every time. It depends on the situation how much we get, but it allows us to predict what is going to happen, which give me a lot of enjoyment.

Like I said it's also a flaw. Because of the way it's written sometimes it kills dynamic of action. There a few instances of it. Especially at the end of the story, it feels stretched a little bit too (I'm talking about last 400 chapters, if I'm not mistaken).

Overall I really enjoyed reading it. My personal skewed rating is 9, if you spend that much reading something there's no way you aren't going to be objective. If I had to be objective I think 7.7-8.2 should be a reasonable rating. That's why my review rating is 8.
