I'm not someone who's good with reviews too much, But I want this manga to get a good rep so here goes.
The premise creates the expectation of this story being action heavy, but instead it feels like it tries hard not write them. Which is in a way a good thing, no action is better than cheap bad action. I really liked how the author played with Hero Leon up till the very end. It felt perfect and it felt like the author made a very brave decision, not many people do that. I admire the author and it has given me the courage to make hard decisions like this in my writing. In the beginning it looked it was going to be a weak first story by a newbie writer, but with a little time the characters really grew on me. It had a very good balance between character development and consistency. As for the setting, it tried something and kept it fresh by trying out new things with it till the end. |

Personally I just find this manga to be hilarious and refreshing. Has a unique premise that it brings to a satisfying conclusion. After finishing, I was left with zero regrets. I am thoroughly grateful I got to experience the amazing story of these two unapologetically stupid idiots. I swear the two protags are the gayest group of straight men I have ever seen and I love it. But, as a great man once said, "if you aren't a lil gay with your homies then they aren't ya homies". All the jokes and gags aside the bond between the two main character's is wholesome af. The
story is incredibly interesting and you never really know what is going to happen despite the story following the classic hero and demon world fantasy that we are all used to. The characters aren't incredibly deep but every one of them makes up for it in charm. I really have no complaints about this manga. It was a wild ride and a hidden gem. I am 90% sure this will get an anime one day and I can't wait for it.

(I'm not a native speaker, sorry if there are any mistakes.)
Here we have a manga that was a big surprise with an interesting theme, I love fantastic aggressive adventures like Goblin Slayer, and even more so when they make jokes about it, but I do not like this series. Here is why. Everything happens in a fantasy universe where half of the world was conquered by the Demon Lord, during which no one was able to stand against the Demon Lord until the hope of humanity arrived, Leon the Hero the only one able to finish with the Demon Lord and is worshiped by all as humanity's only hope. Two colleagues who were abandoned by the Hero after two years by beautiful women, affected by jealousy decide to get stronger to take revenge, thus defeating the Demon Lord before Heroi, to make him pay the same coin. The story that tries to talk a lot about resentment, two heroes with a terrible relationship are joined by a common hatred and go in search of revenge, the construction of the protagonists is wonderful, is the high point of the series, the dialogues and the views are incredible, but the series is just that, there are no enemies, they just jump from random goals, building the climax of history was one of the most disappointing things I have ever seen, the series has no climax only has anti-climax, development is horrible, has no evolution, the characters are free, ecchi all the time, all the characters except the protagonists are horrible, always make jokes with breasts and butts, children jokes overlap any scene at any time, arrived at a sex offender level that I I felt bad, all secondary characters are forced, some even build a universe just to force it to exist there, the series has a good plot and good protagonists but always that expand the range is a failure, when you think the story will have a twist plot or will evolve it back down, know that you will be disappointed. I do not want to spoil much, but it's a very nice series, it's funny and it has great potential, incredible art, even with the mistakes it can still be a big manga. |
